Description

DERMAPEN™ stimulates natural regeneration processes in the skin. The procedure is connected with making several thousands special micropunctures. The occuring microinjuries use the innate ability of the skin to regenerate. Moreover, they use the innate ability of the skin for physiological induction of collagen. At the same time during the procedure, some formulations are introduced, which have moisturizing, nutritional and stretching tight properties. This is because that by using micropunctures in the skin hundreds of microtubules are formed, which breaks the epidermal barrier, allowing the penetration of active ingredients into deeper layers of the skin.

Treatment method

The procedure is performed with local anaesthesia. After a thorough disinfection, a specialist carries out micropuncture with a one-time head equipped with 12 sterile titanium microneedles, which are as thin as one hair. Depth of the injection, precisely selected, (in the range of 0.5 mm to 2.5 mm) allows a full control of the procedure being performed.

After the procedure:

After the procedure the skin becomes reddening. Up to 3-4 days after the procedure patients should apply a sunscreen with a high SPF and use gentle detergents.

Contraindications

• skin cancers
• pregnancy and breast-feeding
• local states of dermatitis (both virus and bacterial states)
• active herpes or active acne with inflammatory lesions
