Procedure description

Varilite – removes spider veins, fibromas and cherry angiomas, seborrhoic warts and reduces erythema, redness on the face and acne rosacea. Removes vascular lesions: telangiectasia, spider angiomas, flat spider veins, cherry angiomas and acne rosacea.

Who is the procedure designed for?

• lentigines, cafe-au-lait spots, freckles,
• congenital haemangioma
• keratosis, fibromas, seborrheic keratoses, hyperplasia of the sebaceous glands, milia
• acne rosacea

What are the contraindications for the procedure?

• pregnancy, breast-feeding
• epilepsy
• tan
• V and VI skin phototype
• photoallergy
• light-sensitizing drugs, substances, herbs (e.g. St. John’s wort, horsetail)
• pigmented nevi
• porphyria, systemic lupus erythematosus, xeroderma, vitiligo, psoriasis
• cancer and a period of 5 years from its cure
• herpes in the area to be treated
• active skin infections
• acute inflammation of the skin and subcutaneous tissue in the area to be treated

How is the procedure performed?

After application of gel the doctor turns the laser light on. The procedure is performed in protective goggles. In some cases (vascular , pigmentation lesions), it is necessary to repeat the treatment at 3-4 weeks’ intervals.
Post-treatment recommendations:
The skin may be reddened. A patient receives a cosmetic to relieve redness after the procedure. You should avoid the sun, sauna, body scrubs and other irritating substances. Please use UV filters.

What are the effects of the procedure?

The patient gets rid of  and unwanted pigmentation and skin lesions. The treatment relieves the symptoms of acne rosacea and erythema on the face.
